Hey there,
   I have DONE the real solution!!!!   It was a bit pricey, but worth the
bucks.   Overall, I paid $170 for the front and rear FrictionTech pads from
TAP and then paid another $175 dollars to turn all 4 rotors (which did kill
the squeaking....Thanks everybody!) and install the pads. Total there, for
you non-addition minded listers was $345.  I have put about 500 miles on the
car since, and the wheels are still decently clean.  Pedal feel is a bit
firmer, taking a bit more effort to slow the car.  This I think is a minor
trade off.
