Front end Questions...

Hello To All--

My AC is back and running :)

During the AC fix I noticed 3 things....

1)the tie-rod seemed loose on the Passanger side and the driver side was
just a little as well?  Is this a little project or a "i should of brought
this to ...." Project?

2)Since the guy that did the AC had a lift, I thought it was a prime time
to check out the  under side of the old girl (86-4000q).  For the past 8k
miles I've noticed a clunk in the rear..  When all four where in the air,
if you turned the right rear wheel side to side a small amont you heard the
Drive-Shaft hitting )seems to be play in the DS ?) Is this that bad, I mean
i brought the car to an Audi guy I know and He said if its not all the time
or real loud just leave cause its too much work and can ause other things
to fail as well, ie rear CV-joints and struts????

BTW- up near where the brake lines come down from the engine, there was
what looked like a parking brake cable that was cut! All brake work! It was
just there with no other piece coming from the raer.  It was cased in
plastic???????????
