How much is one of these?  Why not go for the OEM 2-piece everyone is 
 talking about? How would you describe the noise the cracked manifold 
 makes (mine makes an irregular ticking sound when reving under load 
 when engine is cold, but Quattro specialist TSR said only turbos 
 cracked their manifolds).

I don't think there are more than half a dozen or so UK readers (or 
 maybe there are more who never contribute to this list).  The list 
 tends to be quite US biased and there are to be many small but 
 important differences between US and UK cars, particularly WRT engines 
 and fuel systems.
