Hmm, lets count the units on the left side of the equation:

power:  work/time = mass * length * length / time / time

the right side:

Cd = no units
Area = length * length
V = length /time

Cd * Area * V * V * V = length * length * length *length * length / time 
/time /time

The units on the right side don't match the units on the left side!!!!
Either your equation is invalid or you're not telling the whole story??!!!
