750iL



Guys,

	I drove a WMB 750iL today for an hour.  It was in the executive 
garage for competitive assessment.  I like it alot, but the engine (which 
is the only major difference from the 740iL I drove last fall) didn't 
really impress me enough to want one.  The thing that was really 
impressive was the chassis and suspension.  It handled VERY nicely, 
taking Flint on-ramps at 80 - 90 with no trouble at all.  This is 
impressive.  It is also very smooth and composed, and controlled.

	However...

	Although it has been a while since I drove the A8, I think that 
the A8 is still a better car for a few reasons - Quattro, multilink 
suspension, Aluminum space frame (weight), Tiptronic, performance.
