3rd brake light

        Hello
                What kind of bulbs used in the 3rd brake light of Audi S4 ?
        LED ? incandescent ?
                It seems like it devided into many sections,one section
        of mine is dark when pressing brake pedal. 
                is it possible to fix it ? it looks like it can't be open to
change
        anything inside it.
