Eric....you can say that again about Craw"baby".....because IT'E' is an
orphan class the only basic rule is that it had to have a log book from
another series of somesort.....it's a NE division class for ex-enduro
cars and old SS cars......we were VERY careful to check the rules....with
my husbancd having been the longest (still driving) IT driver in NER and
the Northeast.....we are VERY careful in checking the rules....and
running clean.....the car he's driving now is a (get this)....street
legal, EMRA GT1 car.......so......basically,....it's heavy.......but
quick....we ran for years in the "normal IT classes.....ITA to be
exact....and were considered the most legal in the NE.....along with one
or two others.....as for the upper eshalon (sp) of SCCA......I saw him
almost buy his way out of a protest one day.....I was totally
disgusted....and my sons who were only around 10 years old at the time
spared nothing when they called him a cheater in the garage later
on......(oops....I was not near them at the time....thank god....)
But seriously, Extrude honing is neat stuff....
