Not really. If I recall, A8 was available in Canada at the same time it
was available in Europe. Didn't some exotics also went to Canada that
never made it to the States?

Unless you're looking at the front or the back, you probably won't be able
to tell the difference betwen A6 and Passat. Both has roof line of what VW
calls "Beetle Concept 1" style -- imagine GM Saturn cars.

The 30v V6 is available in current A6 bodywork in Europe.
