Brett,
        The best thing to do is replace the entire assyembly with the 
new type of "worm gear" regulator.  Down side it costs $175....

Other option is find someone in sunny california that can fabricate you 
a cable assy. and refurbish your old reg.  I rebuilt mine three times 
before it wouldn't except further renewal!! Thats when I went to the 
worm gear regs. 

Other option is find a used one from a salvage yard, but inspect it 
closely before you buy. Compare prices and go with that which will best 
work for your situation.

As for the switches, get them from a salvage yard.....
their outrageously priced new, from the dealer.
