interesting AC problem
The AC in my urQ died a couple of weeks ago, and I finally got it into the
shop. It turns out that the relay in the glove box had died (now, there's
a big surprise). This apparently had caused high temperature and pressure
in the system, which in turn had caused a safety plug to blow open, venting
the Freon. So far it seems to work fine with a new relay and a recharge.
This reminds me of the hot-relay problem so many have reported. I was
looking under the hood to figure the best place to get power and add a
relay to power the fan. Any recommendations? TIA.
