As for the Automatic comment, My father's 1987 was an automatic, and I gave
him hell when he checked the box marked "auto" and not the "manual" one.  The
87 turbo non-quattro did the 0-60 in 7.7 sec if I remember correctly,and the
auto did it in 8.7- a second too long for me.  But my mom does not like
manuals,so he bought an auto.

>From my fuzzy memory, i think the AUDI CABRIOLET is the only audi ithat came
to america ONLY as an auto, the V8s had a manual option in their 2nd year
here in America, and of course the new A8 will only come with the tiptronic.

I would personnaly love to buy an used cabrio if it could be converted to
manual for little $.
