This is exactly how it sounds to me Jeff.

Yes, there was alot of crap written about the club in the past, and yes
every organization can stand improvement, but recently the development
of QCUSA regions, and the steady delegation of responsibility to the
regions, is bringing the club decision making straight to the members.

The New England region just completed an extremely successful two-day
drivers school at Lime Rock. Nearly a hundred participated, the weather
was perfect, no sheet metal was damaged, and the New England region
planned, staffed, and executed the whole thing, including the
management of expenses.

My advise to you is: join or start a region, organize and hold an event,
participate and encourage others to volunteer, and stop complaining.
