Spark plugs
Adding a little spark to the dry tinder...
Bosch makes a 4 electrode copper plug called the "Super 4" or something similar.
It does not appear in the recommended list for the 20v (then again, neither does
the F5DPOR platinum). I have no idea about availabililty or price in the US.
I'm sure there are probably a few retailers who advertise in European Car who
might stock them.
Hey, if three's good, four must be better; right?
Disclaimer: I haven't tried them, nor do I know if they are in the correct temp
range. I use the platinums. I swapped plugs at 60k miles and the old platinums
had a light coat of tannish-brown dust -- just like they were supposed to. I
changed the plugs in my wife's Honda from the stock US heat range to the next
higher. After 15k miles in the US, the plugs were fine. Another 15k in Germany
and they were partially melted -- just like Honda said they would be: "For high
speed or extended highway driving use plugs NGK xxxxx"
