WARNING AND GOODBYE!

Hi Folks,

 First, a warning.  Someone on the list had recommended Castrol's Super   
Clean to take care of wheels.  The label says very specifically that it   
is
NOT to be used on wheels!

 Second, I changed the airfilter on my '90 90Q20V and it took about 10-15   
minutes..not to bad and only one scraped knuckle or two..plus a couple   
nasty words.

 Third, OK...OK...I now use the original equipment Audi oil filter with   
check valve...I'm the FRAM bastard, remember?  Is Mann supposed to be   
better or same?

 Fourth, a license plate bracket ID would be good, but it MUST NOT cover   
up my "LIVE FREE OR DIE" (easily the coolest state motto..no flames   
please).

 Finally,  I'm taking off Wednesday night for MONTANA in my 90Q20V.  I'm   
leaving Boston Wednesday night and hoping to bury about 4-500 miles that   
night into Pennsylvania.  Thursday from nowhere Penn. to St. Paul MN   
(about 1000 miles) and then off to Glacier Nat'l Park and environs from   
Friday noon to Sunday noon.  Keep an eye out for me and say a little   
prayer to Der Audi Gods.  Last year I did 8500 miles in 16 days without a   
hitch in my '87 (then 220,000 mile) 5KS.
