the number of rs2's produced was 2200 as i understand it, of which around 10% or 200 were produced in rhd. phil's 180 may have been the number shipped to the uk. the 12 cars which made it to nz were not uk cars as i understand it.
there are currently 2 on sale in nz for $140K or there abouts (in auckland at giltrap's and continental's). each with less than 10k's on the clock. i suspect these were "speculators vehicles" which the dealers weren't smart enough to suss out...
and no, i'm not interested. the price is too high, and the long term value of the car is suspect in my view. instant classic? no, don't think so.
