BTDT. Check out:

The graphic is roughly accurate, but the colors are off. I used a clear
background with a relatively bright blue lettering. Set it up in
Paintbrush and took it over to the local copy shop. I did have to
try two different shops before I got one that ran a good batch for
me...The decals are for inside application. Takes about 2-3 weeks to get
the decals back from the copy shop once they're ordered...
For the Volvo list, I have people send me a check ($5 per decal, or $4 per
decal for 3 or more) and a SASE. For people outside the US, I just have
them send me something interesting (and automotive related, like a
European or Australian car magazine) and I send them a coupla decals in
return. That way we don't have to worry about currency exchanges, etc...
Most people put these decals in their rear or side windows. I wish I could
have gotten larger decals, but the cost was astronomical.
BTW, we decided *not* to put a complete internet address on the decal,
mostly to keep people from sending useless mail, but also for space
reasons.
Here's a coupla possibilities:
quattro@coimbra
quattro@internet
q-list@internet
Just want to be able to id each other, so full disclosure isn't critical
;-)
I'd also suggest an Audi type color such as a light orange or maybe white.
Again, it has to be bright to show up through the window.
When I get home, I'll fire up Paintbrush and lay out a draft decal.
I'll post some samples on my website and announce the URL on the list.
We can talk about this a bit more, and if there's real interest here, I
can move things forward.
