4000 Turbo Q

Went again,

I went to LRP again today.  Open test day always brings out the neat stuff.  At
the Q event I had heard that the one and only Ferrari CanAm car would be there.

It wasn't but the 250 GTO was a nice treat.  And that guy really drove it.  No
trailer queen that.

There were F5000s and one CanAm car.

What you want to hear about is the 4000 Q turbo.  Had a Q Coupe engine etc in
it.  Full cage and race seats.  Meaty tires etc.  The car was silent.  Made no
sound.  It had a 2.5"er with one Borla. He ran coil overs all around and had
removed the front sway bar to get the thing to turn. It did turn.  Took a nice
set from what I could see through the esses.  His best time till I left was a
1:04.8 I think.  If I remember right the Super Touring cars were running similar
times.

He was a club member but dropped out.  IF he had known about the Q Club being
there he would have shown up.
