not at all... it really should pull it at idle speed. we spend entirely
too much time with our feet on the loud pedal without understanding
what the engine can do for you. torque is your friend, torque is good.

now repeat after me: More Torque, More Torque,.... More Torque...

to follow Glen's lead - remember, I said _up_hill_, compression
braking is for advanced students... :P)

if you have a valid endorsement (moto), are over 6 feet tall and
want to experience _real_ torque, come on over and hop on the KTM
sometime... get your left leg beefed up (just ask Steve Buchholz)
