I like this idea, except go into an octopus mode and spit out some
chemical mixture which is our version of an ink cloud. I wonder what
wavelength they are sampling in? Hmmm... Or how about placing
spark plugs in our tail pipes, to burn the exhaust and have the light and
heat swamp out the sensor.

This infringment of our privacy by big brothers spying eyes is
really starting to get to me. They set a limit  for an acceptable
emissions level and I came in well under that. It shouldn't matter
how I met that limit, but that I passed the test. I don't like the 
presumption
of guilt which is placed upon us, and then we prove our inocence by
driving through the field of view of a video camera.
