Re: QC/A8 etc.



I think the thermo-time switch in your coupe is going bad. The thermo-time
switch controls the cold-start valve. I used to have an 85' 5000s which
had one of these switch went bad. It's located at the back of the engine 
block i.e. the end towards the firewall, it's just below the head gasket.
it's screwed into block with a plug attached to it. The cold start problem
will get worse and eventually it will become almost impossible to start.
