Not very big.  It's big enough for the owner's manual book that
comes with the car plus a few oddments, but no more.  A normal-sized
CD changer will never fit in there.

BTW, if you are going to use the CD changer with the Audi stock factory
radio, it won't work.  There is no adapter available yet.  The only
CD changer that will work with the factory radio is the factory
CD changer (also made by Alpine).
