The book you refer to is titled "Audi quattro Gold Portfolio 1980-1991".
Compiled by R.M. Clarke, published by Brooklands Books. 172 pages, all b+w.
The book is a compilation of articles, road tests etc. on both the road and
rally versions of the ur-q and swb, which originally appeared in various
auto magazines (US and Euro) over the past 15 years. Makes great reading.
Well worth the few bob. ISBN 1-85520-3030.
