RE: flywheel pins
I believe that there are two sensors. One is for crank RPM and reads the flywheel teeth. The second is for crank position and reads the pin on the back (engine) side of the flywheel. Are you missing this pin? You can see it thorough acess holes in the bellhousing.
No one that I know of has been able to discern what the two pins on the front (clutch) side of the flywheel are for or if they are needed at all.

discussions in the archives but I cannot find them. Any suggestions?
