AudiBahn GATHERING in Minneapolis!

Hey Q-Gang!


Here's the dirt... AudiBahn WILL BE HELD Saturday Sept. 14th in
Minneapolis (Golden Valley actually).  We will be meeting at
BENNIGAN'S RESTAURANT between 12 and 1pm.  Bennigan's is located
on I-394 west... to get there, take the Louisiana Ave exit and go
EAST (towards downtown) along the frontage road.  The frontage
road you want is on the SOUTH side of 394.  Benny's (Bennigan's) is
right next to a Fudrucker's, and we'll be meeting in the parking
lot to the rear of Benny's.  Here is the important part...  PLEASE
LET ME KNOW if you will be joining us, and how many people will be
in your party.  I need to know how many people to plan for. From
the intial feedback I received, it looks like about 14 people.
Since that time, I have learned that several members of QCUSA will
also be joining us.

Answer the following questions for me:

Schedule of events: 

12-1pm:  Gather at Bennigan's, order drinks & appetizers... mingle
1 pm:  Order food and EAT.  ;)
2ish:  Parade to a nearby Park near Lake Minnetonka 
       Socialize some more, check out the array of cars, go for
       some rides in various Audi's, and some prizes will be
       awarded. 

4:30 pm: The official end of AudiBahn for '96.  See you next year!



For those of you from out of town... suggested lodging:

The RADISSON SOUTH:  Located approx. 15-20 mins south of the
gathering location... also about 15 mins from Mall of America, 5
mins from Southdale Center and a variety of places to eat. It is
located just off I494 on Hwy 100 North at Industrial Blvd. A nice
_full featured_ hotel. One of my fav's in the area. 
You can reach Radisson at:  1-800-333-3333  (ask for the
Bloomington, MN Radisson near HWY 100 & Ind. Blvd)

HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS: Located about 4 or 5 mins from the gathering
spot, along 394.  It's nice, it's new, and inexpensive. It is also
about 15 mins west of downtown Minneapolis.

is along 394 near the Louisiana Ave exit... might be the Xavier
Ave???  exit or something like that.   

BEST WESTERN Hotel Seville: Same general location as the Radisson. 
Just on the south side of 494 near Normandale (aka HWY 100).

MARRIOT CITY CENTER:  Downtown MPLS on Nicollet Ave.  NICE place in
the heart of the city.  Not recommended for those unfamiliar with
the MPLS Metro area.
