I agree with comments re car bras - blerch
I had this 3M tape fitted to my previous dark purple car (not an Audi) and to
my wife's white Opel Corsa.
It's brilliant but must be applied professionally. Air bubbles under it make it
look awful. Its also less obvious on darker colours. The tape on the white
car had a slight yellowy tint to it. Seems to last well (over a year without
deterioration on the dark car). I don't know if it affects the colour
of the paint over longer times and also what happens if you want to remove it
but the installer was positive about both of these points.
I havent put it on my Ming Blue A4 yet but now that I'm getting a few chips
I think I might.
I've previously posted here that I have it on the roof to protect the paint
where my ski rack feet rest - works real well.
