QCUSA Board Nominations...

I hope this doesn't come across as sour grapes on my part -- I was one of
those whose nominations was rejected for not meeting the "member of QCUSA
for two years" requirement -- but I was surprised to see so much emphasis
placed on the candidates' driving experience and background in organizing
events than on their ability to contribute to the operation of the club's
national office.

In view of QCUSA's track record in this regard, I would have thought this
would be a priority for them, especially considering the move toward MORE
autonomy for the individual regions ... obviously, I was wrong.
