'92 100 brake replacement

Fellow q-listers:

Since there is still no Bentley manual available for the '92+ V-6s, has
anyone replaced the brakes themselves? If so, is this fairly easy to do? I
will have to do my brakes soon, and am considering an upgrade to
cross-drilled rotors and better-than-OEM pads, and would like to save some
$$$ by doing it myself. Any thoughts or caveats?

If I have to, I'll buy the aftermarket stuff and have someone else do it,
but.....
