Re: Tresser Super 5k.



As a former owner of a nice, second owner, white in color Tresser 5k,
I must say, they "were" the poop back in there day.  Although a bit 
"odd" in comparison to there counterparts.  A very heavy car (4klbs)
and quite tunable!!  The downside--No 4 weedee--- to make it a classic!!
plus the "one-off" parts were "unavailable!! even from the dealer whom 
sold them!!(Scottsdale Audi) 
I figured it was Audi's way of showing their "sorrow" of Mr Tresser 
burning his hands, and losing the helm of the works rally team back in 
the early years.
The car became an early inspiration to bigger and better things!!
