Try lubricating the spring at the top of the pedal with white lithium
grease. Also the clevis pin where the rod to the MC attaches. This seemed
to work well on mine.  Someone posted recently that the pivot point where
the MC rod attaches to the pedal was worn in an oval shape. Mine also
seemed to be this shape, but wasn't able to get a close enough look to
determine if it's normal or I'll need to replace parts eventually.
