I too have an 89.  
I already have the Haynes and Bentley for the earlier years...up thru 88,
and these are some help because a lot of things are unchanged from 87 - 89
on the 5000/100.
I recently got the AllData CD ROM for the 89, both the Diagnosis/Repair and
the Tech Service Bulletins.  So far I think it is great, and at +/- $50a
bargain compared to the cost of the Bentley.
It addresses a lot of the common problems in detail, including pictures,
etc. and it is more up-to-date than the Bentley could ever be due to the TSB's.
