 Subject: S4 Questions...

Just had a few questions for the S4 (and possibly S6, and A6) owners out
 there:

Does your rearview mirror (on windshield) sit about 3 inches down from the
top edge of the trim above? That seems to be pretty low for me, as it blocks
my vision while driving...I realize that if it were any higher, the rear
view
 might be limited somewhat...

Has anyone done the IA (Ned's) upgrade, and how much of a power improvement
 have you received?

 TIA,

My mirror also is in tha position and does create a blind spot, don't all
mirrors?

After I fixed the unrecognized-by-dealer vacuum line to condensor detachment,
I've found Neds IA3 ECU very powerful indeed. Kicks in around 2800 but really
hard in the mid to upper 3000's. Seriously helped passing power on the two
laners here in Vermont, where sight lines are short for the often unmarked
passing zones.

I put a VDO boost guage under the left console air vent, and highly recommend
it. That's how I diagnosed the vaccum line prob.

I still don't know what having the ECU not "see" boost did to my engine, but
since fixing it my gas mileage has gone down from 20 to 18MPH ( mostly
highway @90avg spd), so I'm worried what the apparent lean running did to my
engine. Comments PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
