Does the 81 4K have a tunnel for the propshaft and appropriate subframe
mounting points for the rear suspension?

Well, here's where it's different... The 81 4k2dr has the tunnel, but it
only houses the exhaust. It may or may not have to be enlarged to
accomodate both the exh and the prop shaft.
As far as subframe mounting points, so far it looks like the front 2
points on the q subframe match up with those for the beam axle. As for
the rear 2, should be straight forward enough to put in a portion of the
rear pan from a donor q.

Nope. The sport was based on the early coupe/80 pan. It is actually the
coupe with 12.6" taken out from behind the B pillar.
If you look at one next to an ur-q, the first thing you notice is the
windshield angle. The sport is 2-3 degrees steeper that the ur-q/4k.
Also, the sport has the exact same doors and A pillars as the early 4k
