I run a mag-mount 'stealth' CB antenna from RS that looks like a cellular antenna. It works OK on AM, mebbe 5 miles and like 10-15 miles SSB on a big car like the 5KTQ. I also run a RS 'stealth' scanner antenna that's an on-glass cellular look-alike mounted dead-center at the top of the rear windscreen. It also works OK. RS 'stuff' may not be of the highest quality, but it is generally servicable and you can get support at 1000s of RS stores. I gave up on the 'BIG' antennae after a stop in 94 when the Trooper told me he was positive he had the correct car because of all the BIG antennae. Now it's stealth-city. ILMEC!
