The Audi remote is definitely worth the $.  Actually I seldom use it since I
am still stuck to the old fashion key concept to lock and unlock the car.
 Besides I don't feel secure if I use the remote to lock since I always
wonder did I press the button versus the use of a key by old habit.  It has 2
buttons, one lock and one unlock.  The interior lights turn on until you
start the engine when you unlock the car.  It switches off the interior
lights when you lock the car.  However it does not turn off the alarm if you
accidently activates it like using to lock the while you are inside and later
start the car.
