I hope that you wired them through the relays. If not - get ready for 
surprise, I know many examples of burned harnesses/melted sockets with the 
high power H9004's installed directly in them.
Audi AG, in it's infinite arrogance in the cars destined for the US market,  
wires the head lights directly(!) to the switch. They probably figure that 
they could save 10DM on two relays since  the DOT-approved lights are so 
whimpy.

Actualy, they are right!
