john, good news. i got my kit from the dealer and they also put it in,
but the dealer merely got it from one of the suppliers that are around
the country. mine cost $108 for 4 bulbs, the wiring harness, relay etc.
there are instructions that come with it. i'll post the address and
phone number of the place in a little bit and you guys can compare
prices with the other places.
the chief foreman at this place has a 200T and he too got a kit and
put it into his own car, so i guess i would have expected it to work
out for mine.
the kit is pretty complete as far as i can tell. the instructions
recommend that you ground the headlights close by, so the mechanic
who installed it ended up drilling two holes in the bodywork to
insert grounding screws. i would have been too terrified to do
such a thing! aaaaahhh.
btw, i'm really glad i paid someone to do it because he did an
outstanding job. just very very good workmanship. it took him 2.5
hours to do it and another 45 mins to rewire it to get all 4 to light
up if you need a reference point.
