Tie Rod ends

Easy.  Getting them in the first place is more difficult - Audi only supply the 
whole rod.

Like what?  I mean, just how bad is it?  A good mechanic will spot one going 
5,000 miles before a bad mechanic - the differences are in handling and tyre 
wear.  When they get _real_bad_ - yup, it's dangerous.
