My UrQ Update

So, while at Lime Rock, I'm driving a bit too close, and I get a black flag.

I start worrying, as an instructor with a student aboard,
and now they are going to yell at me for aggressive driving.
I pull in and the pit boss says "your exhaust is falling off".

Well, we took out the hacksaw, and cut it off right after the muffler, half of which
came off as well. I was not too disturbed, as I knew that the halfassed
constriction the former owner left me was costing at least a few HP.

Ivor at TAP offered me a cat-back Scorpion brand system for only $795, but I
knew that the big pipe from the cat to the muffler was 2.5" Stainless and in
good shape, so I bought a Stainless UltraFlo muffler from Racer Wholesale for
$99, a nice 3.5"dia tip from Techtonics Tuning, and coerced a piece of stainless
pipe from one of our material vendors.

Then, at the cost of two LARGE lobsters, one of my best welders put it all
back together. Oh boy, does it sound nice!

At the same time I ran a variable vacuum line to the wastegate, and turned it up
until it hit the stock PROM overboost, then backed it off one notch. I'm getting
a better boost gage to see how far it really goes.

Anyway, even with the stock overboost limit, THE CAR IS TRANSFORMED. Zoom zoom
zoom, grin grin grin, wow! Not only that, but I'm ready to sell the radio, and
put on some sweaters, just so I can keep the windows open and listen to the exhaust music.
