Windshield Wiper Chatterrrrr...

Hi again,

A week or so ago I had to have my windshield replaced in my '87 5KCSTQW and 
ever since the 
wipers chatter like crazy at the end of their arch. Any ideas? This isa 
weird one.

I did see the fellow forcing them off which made me wince but... Tonight, 
in the rain, I pull them off and found that the splines on the wiper head 
had been somewhat worn off (or sheared) so that you have to be sure to 
tighten them very tight so the wipers move with the motor moving.

Anyway, any thoughts would be great.
