Dan,

I just put these on the V8, and boy are they quiet!  They replaced the LOUD,
crappy Riken STX tires that were on the car when we bought it.  Noise is
relative.  Maybe you're use to Michelins.  I've heard that their tires are
quiet.  Good luck.
