'90 100/brakes?

I've been seeing messages reagarding the bomb and stopping power etc. I'm
wondering if this may be the problem i'm having with the brakes on my 100.

They seem to stop the car ok although they seem to me a bit mushy,
campared to my '88 5kq. I've had the dealer check them out and my favorite
audi mechanic check them out and no one can find anything.

If I keep steady pressure on the brake pedal it will go down although not
allthe way to the floor.

any suggestions?
