I've had the best Bell, Passport and now Valentine 1. No comparison. With the
locator feature you end uphaving to slow down WAY less often, since if the
signal is weak and behind you, just step on it!!

Best example of the need for the "bogey counter," which tells you the number
of signals it's tracking:

     On my way home I pass a mobile home sales park which has an alarm system
that registers "2" X-band signals on the V-1. One day the unit goes "dee-deet
1, dee-deet 2 (ok so far), dee-deet 3" BRAKE! Occifer shooting his X-band
radar gun under cover of the only X false signal for 25 miles. At ~110 that
paid for the V-1, the bailbondsman's fee, the lawyer's fee, the missed work
days...........

Save your dinero and get one. You'll worry less, slow down less, and enjoy Q
more.

I do agree that vigilance is equally important.
