Re: Rear Defrost Problem
This reminds me of a story my father-in-law told me from when the first heat
based window defoggers came on Chevrolets. The dealer had a very nice and
thorough retired gentleman that took personal interest in inspecting and
assuring delivery-ready status of all new cars. He informed a salesman one
morning that the about-to-be-delivered car was indeed ready, but that the
cleanup crew had left some stripey factory applied junk on the back window and
that he had personally cleaned it all off with razor blade and alcohol.
If the heat lines are cut or broken they can be repaired with a liquid
conductor available in most parts stores. Just clean the spot and paint it on
like nail polish.
