About 6 weeks ago I mentioned this on the list.  I will say it ONE more
time.  At the dealer down the road (not the one in Austin) I spoke with an
Audi Rep who is paid salary by AoA to work at the dealership and get new
Audis on the road. He says AoA is begining to do this all over the country -
though my guess is it's more likely in areas with low or sluggish sales.

He has committed to me a 1997 a4q for $700 over invoice.  If anybody out
there has a better deal, please let me know b/c I plan to call him back as
soon as we sign the papers on my wifes new house next Monday.  (What a deal
she gets new house, I get new Audi...)  He's also got me on the list for an
a8 drive when it gets here  : ) !
