re:temperatures

Hi:

I've been reading the thread on wiring for high heat applications. I've
always had success in using teflon coated multi strand wires for all
applications. It is commonly available (or should I say most
economically) at Hamfests or Amateur radio flea markets. I use several
strands in parallel for higher current applications. I had an electric
pump in my '83urQ for pre-oiling the turbo and the wire(s) lasted for 7
years ( I suspect the current owner has no problems) and the wire never
discolored which indicates it was not over heated.

Hope that is informative for someone.
