Sorry about this, didn't read your message carefully enough...

What I'm talking about it the stupid thermal fuse on the side on the 
reistor pack. As far as I can tell this is the part that actually dies in 
the resistor pack. Get yourself one of these, be careful not to get it 
too hot when solidering it on, and see if it fixes the problem, did for 
me! Better the 2 bucks for the fuse then 65 bucks for a new resistor pack!

Small side note: The relays in the fuse block are avalible at Radio 
Shack, simple called "Automotive Relay" or something like that. They even 
have the same numbers for the terminals! Also have a neat little puller things to make them 
easier to remove.
