More info on my '85 ur-q.

Hi folks,

Due to the overwhelming response to my posting concerning the POSSIBLE sale
of my car, I thought I'd post some info about what's going on.

I'm still crunching numbers and trying to work out a budget to see if I can
keep it. I want to keep this car as much as some of you want to buy it. So
it's not definitely on the market yet. I'm going to need a little time to
work out a realistic budget and see if the car and I can co-exist on my
salary.

I also appreciate all the shoulders that have been offered for me to cry on.
But I'm not crying yet, and jeez - it's not like somebody died.

I've owned the car for about two years and have spent a HUGE portion of my
income on it. I get the best of everything for it. And I need to curb this
behavior. I need to put the car on the back burner for a while. I'm not
going to let it fall apart, but I am going to relax my intensive restoration
and tweeking efforts. If doing this doesn't let me get on with my life, then
the car's got to go. But only then.

And for everybody who's dying to get ahold of an '85 ur, another one is
going to hit the market soon. It's nicer than mine and has fewer miles.
I'm hopefully going to place the ad on the list for the seller. Stay
tuned.

I'm going to be out of town for a few days, so forgive me if I can't get
right back to everybody who's emailed me.

Later, all.
