RE: S4 to S6 changes

I noticed in a side x side comparison at our August NE meet (Lime Rock) that
the stress bar wasn't installed in early S4's, like mine. In the later cars
(late '92?) the brake master cylinder reservoir is different with the mouth
shifted forward to allow room for the stress bar mounting. Actually, it's a
pretty nasty looking stress bar, seems like a cheap piece of rectangular
steel tubing bolted to sheet metal strut brackets, which I thought looked
homemade. I was surprised to find out that it's factory!

Maybe to compensate, my car has some positive features the later S4's lack:
mine has different (firmer) factory suspension calibration and a rear
anti-roll bar which were changed/dropped in later S4's.

beams.

Boy do my headlights suck! Does anyone know whether the conversion to the
95.5 xenon headlights is straightforward and (especially) economically
feasible? I've been afraid to ask my local audi parts god.
