The stock ones are rubber only. $6 is a very good price for these things.
I've seen them in the APS catalog for ~$10 and the dealer sells the OEM
rubber ones for ~$3. I suppose that when the rubber eventually rots away
the chain will transmit vibrations but it won't leave your exhaust system
hangin'.
