Re: sorry to all

... Trisha, don't be sorry, be proud. The cry babies who take up far
more BW than you should buy larger delete keys. Tis an open list and
we who lurk quietly (usually) enjoy it all, NASCAR too. I'm 76, still love
my Audis, past and present (now V8Q and 100CS), and have done my
share of endless left turns along with other racing, auto and 2whl. Racing
is racing! Even hear that some enjoy burning rubber from a stop light,
which IMO takes little or no skill (nomex time), but I don't knock it. My
personal kicks (other than my cars and motorcycles) were from 37 years
of landing and taking off from an aircraft carrier at speeds that would make
my V8Q jealous--or going through mach 1 in a vertical climb in afterburner.
Whatever turns you on. This is an Audi list, true, but it would be dull
indeed if we just exchanged part numbers and complaints, tried to fix
Audi ailments, and bitched about dealers. It's much more than a
"list" --- it is a circle of friends. I paced the floor when Bart's Dora
was having her problem (as just one example), and Dan controls my favorite
place on the net admirably... You, Unka Bart, Phil, Eric -- the list goes on
and on and on -- give our circle of friends the personality admired and even
envied by members of other lists.
I'm a very contented lurker--so back to the silent mode! (Bout time, eh?)
Les 'n Les
(Between Les Sr and Les Jr we average almost 5,000 driving miles a week, so
the rocking chair is dusty--of course Jr. does 3k of the 5k.)
